I have seen some virtual tours that had bad photo quality and looked like the photos where
stitched together. Can you explain how you do your enhanced virtual tours?
What is an Enhanced Virtual Tour?
Before we answer what an "enhanced" virtual tour is, let's explain what "virtual tour" means. A virtual tour is a photo presentation using full 360o field of view which allows a viewer to get the sense of "virtually" walking through the space. The viewer has full control of moving left and right, zooming in and out and in many virtual tours, they can tilt up and down.
Our "virtual tour" solutions go far beyond just displaying a simple 360o presentation of your property with limited functions. With our virtual tours, we offer the right/left, up/down, zoomin/zoomout, next scene/ previous scene, but unlike many other virtual tour companies, our features don't end there. We offer "enhanced" features such as map/floorplan with radar effect option. This allows the viewer to interact with the virtual tour by using the map/floorplan and the radar to navigate throughout the presentation allowing to feel the sense of direction. We offer "hotspot" linking which allows a viewer to click an arrow pointing to another scene within the current scene they are viewing. Other features we offer include adding sound clips, navigation menus and much more!
How long does it take to get an Enhanced Virtual Tour completed?
This depends on how many features you want to have with your enhanced virtual tour. If you want the basic package with one of our 50+ skins, then we can have your enhanced virtual tour completed within 6-7 business days after the photoshoot. Even with a map/floorplan feature, it usually takes no longer then 8-9 business days.
What do I get when my enhanced virtual tour is complete?
1) You are e-mailed a link of your enhanced virtual tour for your approval.
2) Once approved, we e-mail you with an invoice and/or we can also fax or mail you your invoice to your specified location. We provide you with links to your enhanced virtual tour hosted at www.myvirtualtour.ca, www.enhancedvirtualtours.com and www.halifaxvirtualtours.com. It's up to you how you want to advertise your enhanced virtual tour. You are also provided with instructions on how to post a link on your website to point to your enhanced virtual tour.
3) Once we receive your payment either by cheque, money order or made arrangements to pay in cash we e-mail you a zipped file of your enhanced virtual tour and instructions so you can integrate it into your website, and we mail you your executable CD(s).
When and how do I pay for my enhanced virtual tour?
Like most businesses, we request to have your payment received promptly after you have approved your enhanced virtual tour. If we don't receive an e-mail with your approval within 3 business days, we will temporarily remove the approval link until we receive your e-mail. If we don't receive payment within 7 business days after your approval and there has been no payment arrangements, we will remove the enhanced virtual tour link. For security reasons, we will send you your enhanced virtual tour files to integrate into your site as well as mail you your executable CD(s) after your payment has been received.
Can I host my enhanced virtual tour on my own website?
YES! After we receive your payment, we e-mail you a zipped file and instructions on how to place your enhanced virtual tour into your own website.
What is the average size of an enhanced virtual tour?
The average size of an enhanced virtual tour is about 1MB with 4 scenes, but can exceed this depending on how many scenes your tour includes and how many extra features such as audio clips.
Will my enhanced virtual tour work in any internet browser?
We use Adobe Flash programming for our enhanced virtual tours because Adobe Flash is enabled in 99% of all internet browsers so the chances of an enhanced virtual tour not to work in an internet browser is very unlikely.
Can I decide what scenes I want in my enhanced virtual tour?
YES! Not only can you choose what scenes you want, we ask you in which order you want the scenes and which spot in each scene do you want to start the presentation.
What if I need to reschedule my enhanced virtual tour?
If you need to reschedule the photoshoot, please contacts us 24 hours before the scheduled photoshoot. If we don't hear from you within 24 hours, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $30.00 plus mileage to cover our expenses.
Do I need to be present when you do the photoshoot?
Although we really prefer you to be present at the location, it is not necessary as long as there has been pre-arrangements for us to be allowed to photoshoot without you present.

NO! We print and apply only the highest quality glossy labels on our CD's. Click here for a CD sample.
Can I request changes to one of your pre-designed skins?
YES! We can do minor "tweaks" to any one of our 50+ skins such as font style and color, move around the map and your business info as long as there is space to do so. There is no extra charges for minor "tweaks".
I have seen some virtual tours that had bad photo quality and looked like the photos where stitched together. Can you explain how you do your enhanced virtual tours?
Many virtual tours are made by a person taking 15 or more photos using a tripod in a 360o fashion, then they use a program to stitch those photos together. Unfortunately, that method can leave seams which are visible in the virtual tour presentation. We don't use that method! We use a special optic lens that takes "one" full 360o shot eliminating seams and distortion.
We only use high end digital cameras to shoot your enhanced virtual tour photos and finally the photo is checked for the best possible contrast and brightness and is color-corrected to be as realistic looking as possible.
